Electronic throttling to 35 kW for Euro 4 motorcycles:
With the throttle kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all performance classes become more interesting for the motorcyclist, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving license class. The power-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power reduction. Essential factors have to be taken into account: on the one hand, the legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise and power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimum drivability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.

From the beginning, alpha Technik has characterized the development of performance modifications for the new Euro 4 vehicles according to currently valid directives. Since the launch of the proprietary MCR throttle modules in 2016, we offer you and your customers reliable technology at the highest level at an affordable price.

The latest version makes throttling for vehicles with “ride by wire” even easier, faster and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reduced to 35 kW with absolute operational reliability without the additional throttle orifices (*) used in the past. The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct ratio of gasoline and air at all times.

The redundancy required by law is of course met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the throttle is reduced considerably, installation is faster and very easy.
A major advantage of the MCR throttle for bikers remains the complete use of the angle of rotation on the throttle grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion

(*) For Euro 5 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle valves, the additional throttle orifices remain an indispensable component for the correct mixture composition – slimming with reduced fuel supply but fully open throttle valves is thus prevented.
